Chaos Theory Motorcycle Club
San Diego, CA

Picture
Once upon a time in a small town called San Luis Obispo, CA, there lived two best friends with a passion for motorcycles, an abundance of ignorance, and a severe lack of self preservation.  Their irresponsible and untrained riding led to a number of accidents, countless scars and hospital visits, and enough harsh lessons to last a lifetime.  It wasn't until nearly a decade after first receiving their 2-wheeled licenses that John Butters and Jesse Norton realized how fortunate they were to make it through those years and founded Chaos Theory Motorcycle Club.  Their mission is simple, to help new riders get on the road safely.

A study showed that 70 percent of motorcycle accidents occur within the first 90 days of ownership.  And of the riders involved in accidents, 92% are self-taught or learned from family and friends.

"I learned a lot of lessons the hard way, including spending 3 days in a hospital ICU.  We want to help new riders learn these lessons the easy way."
- John Butters

"It is a lot easier to get a motorcycle license than to ride a sport bike safely, especially if you're under 25."
- Jesse Norton
